Sarady Marzook met CareerSpring team members Abby Adams and Martin Rincon at an event in Los Angeles hosted by Community Partner, USC Neighborhood Academic Initiative (NAI). She was a recent graduate and wanted to pursue a role in Human Resources. She was encouraged to register as an Advisee on the CareerSpring Platform, and she quickly took advantage of the resources available.
She found an opportunity in Human Resources on the Platform, however, it was intended for current students. Sarady took the initiative to set up a meeting with an Advisor who worked for the company in hopes of learning of more opportunities. CareerSpring Advisor, Annemarie Neal, was very impressed with Sarady and her experiences, and encouraged her to apply for the position she found through CareerSpring.
Within two weeks of meeting Abby and Martin, Sarady landed a paid internship with our Employer Sponsor, Hellman and Freidman. We are delighted to share that she accepted the position with the possibility of a full-time role after six months. Sarady’s tenacity and willingness to go the extra mile not only impressed our team, Advisors, and Employers—but paid off in helping launch her career.
