Martin Rincon

Martín was born in Toluca, Mexico and grew up in Compton, CA. As an immigrant, education played a pivotal role in his life and led him to attending Georgetown University. Through his participation in various Latinx organizations, Martin advocated for various diversity based initiatives and developed a passion for supporting first generation, low income college students. During his time in Houston, he served as an elementary school teacher and college advisor for students in the Third Ward, Gulfton, Spring and Spring Branch areas.
