Kaitlyn Abdul

Kati is a fellow FGLI graduate ecstatic to be part of the CareerSpring Team. She graduated from Lawrence University as a Posse Scholar with a BA in Religious Studies. Upon graduating, Kati held several different leadership roles including Director of the Roosevelt Island Afterschool Program, Maintenance Director and Property Manager. While Kati had a lot of experience, she didn’t know what she wanted to do and experienced difficulty breaking into new industries. Kati wished there was a program like Posse that supported FGLI college graduates in building their careers. Luckily, she found CareerSpring and joined the team in 2019, supporting the early growth and success of the organization as a Regional Program Coordinator for the NY/NJ region and Video Library Manager. Today, as CareerSpring’s Career Platform Manager, Kati works to ensure that FGLI college students and young professionals have an exceptional career access experience through its online networking and job placement Platform. Ultimately, Kati believes that CareerSpring can help others the way it has helped her.
