Dallas Business Journal Hosts Volunteer Day

CareerSpring hosted a ‘Volunteer Filming Day’ with The Dallas Business Journal. Sophia Stoller, CareerSpring’s Regional Program Manager in Dallas, facilitated the activity while employees volunteered their time to make video contributions for our Career Video Library, an important resource that encourages early career exploration.

President of Dallas Business Journal and CareerSpring Regional Advisory Board Member, Ollie Chandhok, shared, “We were thrilled to host CareerSpring … It’s inspiring to see our team come together to support first-generation, low-income students by sharing career insights and connections. Even more exciting—two of our team members have now become CareerSpring volunteers [Advisors] to continue making an impact!”

We are extremely thankful to the team at The Dallas Business Journal including—Will Anderson, Randy Kazmierski, and Kelsey Cornillie—for this collaboration and the creation of these new valuable resources which will help Advisees across the country, better informing the next generation of professionals how to take on roles in media. If you are inspired by this experience and Dallas Business Journal’s initiative, please consider hosting a volunteer day to help us make a difference. For more information on volunteering, or if you’d like to create a Career Video, let our team know by completing our Interest Form.
