CareerSpring FORWARD Launches

CareerSpring is thrilled to announce the launch of our CareerSpring FORWARD Internship Program!

This early career identification program will help participants discover their strengths and interests, explore potential career options that align with their goals, and inspire confidence in their abilities as they prepare for future internships and full-time employment.

Bridging the gap from the classroom to the workplace for first-generation and low-income students (FGLI) will play a crucial role in their future employment, ensuring they have work experience related to their industry of choice earlier in their career journey. Laura Duelm, CareerSpring’s Senior Job Placement Manager shared,

“Many of our Advisees would apply for their first internship as a junior. Even though they had wonderful grades and presented well in an interview, they were at a disadvantage because they did not have the same professional experiences as their peers. We hope FORWARD launches our Advisees towards being more competitive for full-time summer internships and eventually, full-time roles.”

CareerSpring FORWARD will launch with 70 interns hosted at 25 companies and organizations across the nation. CareerSpring FORWARD interns are rising sophomores or juniors pursuing an undergraduate degree, with an interest in one of the program’s three cohorts: Marketing, Accounting & Finance, and Data Analytics & IT.

Dave Brown, CEO of Hays US,

“Hays is very proud and honored to be partnering with CareerSpring to provide internships to this incredibly bright and talented group of students this summer. We look forward to hosting a group of interns in our Tampa office and are very happy to be providing the onboarding and payroll support for the FORWARD interns nationally.”
