CareerSpring was founded with the mission of supporting every FGLI student across the United States find meaningful employment. Every time we see this vision come to fruition, our faith in our mission is re-energized. This summer, CareerSpring had the privilege of supporting Advisee Arlette Parreno, a Business Administration major at the University of North Texas at Dallas.
Arlette joined the CareerSpring Platform after learning about our resources from Education Partner, Scholar Shot. Arlette quickly dove into the resources CareerSpring provides and was able to successfully secure an Accounting Clerk Intern position with Employer Partner, Stentech. As the summer came to a close, Arlette was offered a full-time role as an Accounts Payable Specialist from Stentech.
“As a first-generation student, I felt uncertain about how to begin this new chapter in my life. CareerSpring was instrumental in refining my resume and interview skills. They matched me with an internship in my desired field, which eventually led to a job I hadn’t imagined securing so soon after graduation.
