Patrick Durgin
Pat’s career in education has led him both in and out of the classroom at upstart and growing institutions working predominantly with current and future first generation, low- income college students. Pat began his career in the Full-Time Residential Volunteer Program at Cristo Rey New York where he worked as a Teacher, College Counselor, and Coach. He then worked as the first Graduate Support Coordinator at Arrupe College of Loyola University Chicago building infrastructural supports and serving students as they progressed to senior institutions to earn a Bachelor’s degree or gain meaningful employment. Pat was happy to return to his home state of Massachusetts in 2020 where he worked as a Humanities Teacher and helped with Fundraising and Advancement efforts at The Academy at Penguin Hall before joining CareerSpring in the Summer of 2022. Pat is excited to build another successful CareerSpring Network of students, education and community organizations, and employers in the East Coast.
