Monica Piquet-Rodriguez

A Teach For America alumna, Monica’s 20+ year career in education and non-profit management began with a traditional high school teaching role in the Houston Independent School District (HISD), where she taught high school Science. Since that time, Monica has worked in a variety of capacities to support student achievement within the classroom and beyond, including as a Program Director/Managing Director of Program with Teach For America Houston, as a College Access Coordinator within HISD, and as a Co-Founder, Director of Programs, and Executive Board Leader for DiscoverU. Today, Monica develops strategies and plans new initiatives to improve CareerSpring’s operational model and the Career Platform’s user experience; in addition, Monica also leads the strategy and content development for CareerSpring’s marketing. Monica is a first generation graduate with a BS in Biology from St. Mary’s University of San Antonio.
